It’s ALL About Jesus - Part 1

Jul 6, 2025    Steve Hinton

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6

Jesus said, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe the good news.” Mark 1:15

Philippians 3:7-9a But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. 8 Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ.

Philippians 3:13-14 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. (NIV)

When It’s All About Jesus, Then Jesus is Center of it All.

A. When We See It, We See That It’s Not About Me!

B. When We See It, We See Everything Else with Purpose.

John 14:6 “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Jesus said, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe the good news.” Mark 1:15

Philippians 2:5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus.

Colossians 3:23-24 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

1 Peter 4:10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

C. When We See It – And Act On It – Everything Will Change.

Know Jesus

John 3:3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.

Grow in Jesus

Matthew 7:24 “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.”

Show Jesus

Matthew 28:18-20 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

2 Corinthians 5:20a We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us.
