John 14:1-3 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.
A. Words of Encouragement
1. Jesus Is Preparing Heaven For Us
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
2. Jesus Has Left Us The Holy Spirit
John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
3. Jesus Desires To Daily Empower Us
John 15:5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
John 17:3 And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
4. Jesus Has Overcome The World
John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (NIV)
5. Jesus Is Presently Praying For Us
John 17:20-21 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
