Table Questionnaire (Responses)
1. The big one – if you had a blank check from God, what would you do?
- Whatever He lead me to do!
- (No answer provided)
- Give it to the church
- A big fellowship hall
- Fellowship hall – kitchen; gym; playground; coffee bar
- I would prefer to develop/build on the current property especially since church is already paid for; I understand the limitations explained but I think with cooperation from county, tax authority and neighbors, we should be able to build new church as well as continue to use existing building
- Build elsewhere; as mentioned we can then build to our specs
- I would give what it would take to build the church you would need
- Donate to the church; buy a church bus to pickup
- 20 acres; 300-350 seat church; gym; radio station; school/day care, more people using facilities
- Buy a nice piece of land nearby and build on it
- I think it would be divided between church and me – 50 / 50 split
- I’d like to rework this property to the most efficient use, while keeping the physical needs of the area around the church for other activities; if we can get people in the area to come to the building for any reason, it would not be a stretch to get them to come on Sunday
- Give it away – church
- Build on new property and building for the needs of the community and church
- Make the building and property beautiful
2. What do you see as the biggest needs?
- More and safer areas for all ages
- Bigger sanctuary; the need for classroom space
- Men area
- Classrooms inside one building where parents meet for worship
- Bigger sanctuary; newer more modern appealing sanctuary; money to fund
- Community outreach
- Finances; more space
- A bigger sanctuary and bigger fellowship hall
- Kids in the main building, not the portables
- More classrooms; bigger sanctuary
- More space
- Space; classrooms, storage, parking
- Plenty of classrooms and meeting rooms
- Space – storage
- Kitchen, fellowship hall and extra space
- More space and keeping kids in the building
3. How far away from our present property would you feel comfortable with if we were to move and why?
- Depends entirely with which direction the new property was.
- I am okay with moving
- I love this property if it is possible to remain on it
- I would travel 10 – 12 miles one way
- I would prefer to stay put; I think our location is perfect
- 10 – 15 miles
- 5 miles; no more than 10
- 10 miles because I can be more involved
- 5 – 10 miles
- 5 – 7 miles or so; too much further, people drop off
- 15 minutes
- If you move NW-150 miles to Austin; if you move SE-5 miles
- 3 – 5 miles; have traveled far in the past and like the short drive
- I would drive to sit with Steve’s teaching as far as we need
- 12 – 15 miles; so that we can better serve
- Not far; 3 – 5 miles; very close to us now
4. In addition to the physical expansion, what area of service most excites you?
- The Ladies Ministry. Growth and encouragement amongst & between the women at C4
- Having more room on Sunday morning; having a facility that could also be a revenue stream; having more rooms for more ministry throughout the church
- More space
- More fellowship dinners if we had a large hall where we don’t have to take chairs down to put up tables
- Opening up building to community; more fellowship dinners and fellowship time with more space
- Sound team
- The fact that more people are visiting us; this area is growing and we need to be able to accommodate folks
- Bigger to attract more families – hopefully younger families for a larger youth group
- The different groups in the church; ladies group, book club
